Application To Record & Convert Audio Into Flash

This is a pretty simple project for those programmers who know what they are doing. We need a program that will capture voice recordings and convert it into Flash format. The application should have 2 main components: 1) Voice Recording Module This module should let someone call a dedicated phone number, key in their unique key code and record their message through the phone. The recording should be saved perhaps in .wav file format. This module should also optionally allow the user to record their message by using a microphone connected to their PC rather than calling a telephone number. 2) Voice Conversion Module This module should accept a .wav file and convert it into Flash Audio format with a simple built-in Flash player. What should happen on the user end is this. 1) Customer chooses to create a new voice message. 2) They choose to either i) Upload an existing .wav file to be converted ii) Speak directly into a mic connected to their PC iii) Call a telephone number and key in their PIN before speaking their message 2a) The customer can then choose from the various options available. Eg (have the Flash Audio play automatically or manually, whether to show a progress bar that indicates how much of the audio has been played, color of the play/stop/pause buttons on the Flash Audio player, etc). These values may be selected by the Administrator of the solution and the customer may/may not be able to change it depending on setting made by Administrator. 3) Once the message is recorded/uploaded, the application should convert the .wav file to Flash Audio format. 4) The customer is given a snippet of code (preferably Javascript) that they can place on their website. 5) A visitor to the customer's website will see the Flash Audio player and depending on the settings, the audio will automatically play or the visitor must click on the play button to initiate playing. 6) The customer should have access to statistics on the number of times the audio message has been played within a certain date range. Please note that the application is server-based and should ideally be run on a Linux-based server. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The actual application should run on RedHat Linux Enterprise. The Flash Audio player created should be able to run on any browser that has Flash player installed. Preferably, people using any major browser (IE, Netscape, Mozilla) should be able to use the mic recording and wav file upload component.
