Answer Machine

I am curious if it is possible to make a Answer machine that uses your dial up modem and computer to pick up phone calls when your not home and take messages. If so is it possible to make it for you can call the house and when answer machine comes on you can enter a pin to listen to messages and delete and skip them or send them to a diffrent area for safe keeping. Also if its possible to have it read e-mails as well by going onto the net on a request a getting your e-mail by pre setup settings then using a type to voice system to read and delete them again using a touch tone.
