A function for Colorbox to work with Slider [Shortcode]

I'm working on a website that someone built and I need a snippet of code. The Wordpress 3.6 site uses a few plugins. slideshow-jquery-image-gallery wordpress-gallery-plugin jquery-colorbox When we create a slider and embed it on a page with a [shortcode] it works fine.. but when we take the short code and put it on a page with the Colorbox active.. the slide does not show.. I need a function that tells the slider how to communicated the short code the popup window.. Also, having some IE & Chrome issues, but this short code issue is the most important..
