Hi,
My company has a VB.NET winforms application that we would like ported so that it can run on Mac OSX operating systems. We have done the code port already and the application is up and running on a mac using Mono. When running under mono on Mac systems, sometimes, the UI controls don't draw or only draw partially for some reason. Obviously we can't ship this to our customers this way. We would like the UI ported so that it can run on Mac OSX. Preferably using Mono/MonoDevelop/MonoMac/GTK+. There is 1 main form that does 90% of the work and 15 little dialogs of less importance (they handle settings). There are also 9 usercontrols (pretty simple) that need to be converted as they are dynamically added to the UI depending on what the users selects. Finally, there is 1 screen that loads a list from an xml file. If there is a technology that I haven't considered that may be a better option, please let me know. Please note we have the majority of our logic in a couple of other dlls so the technology would need to be able to call .NET Dlls easily. For maintenance, I would prefer to stay as close to the .NET world as possible. I'd like this done ASAP as we have customers waiting on it. This is our first project here so please let us know if we left anything out. The video here will show the main screen UI for your reference:
