We believe in perfection and constantly strive to excel and deliver value to the client We had a very similar project completed some time back and thus I have tweaked the same slightly to fit your needs better. I have created prototype for you based on the proposal, that I can demo/share if you share your email or skype id since I am unable to attach the file here. Since we are new to this portal and don't have any previous rating, I thought this may help you judge us capabilities better and also be sure that we will deliver the project way before your deadline. The build is capable of scanning most bar codes (if there is any support missing, we can add that on request), share the code scanned over the email and also connect to another system over wifi network using socket and transfer the code, as stated in your requirements. Things pending in the build for it to become the final output for you are UI (that we can discuss and make), scan from an image, and error handling, that should take 3-5 days to complete at max. Have done previous work with barcoder readers but with 8051 and other microcontrollers. So I have a good knowledge about whats going on. Have also working on OpenCv so I can do image processing easily. If you are interested hit me up!

It would be very helpful. <-- Update --> Hi, I have gone through the document attached and cooking up a custom bar code reader to decode the required formats should not be very difficult. However am i required to build the desktop application that will receive the data from the mobile app? if not I assume you will provide it for testing. Regards
