Manufacturer of fashion luxury products, Need marketing plan to beat competition

We are experienced eBay sellers for more than 15 years on eBay. We've always sold using the Buy It Now option or best offer. Our product is expensive fashion luxury product that we creat ourselves. Only recently a few other sellers popped out, selling those luxury products for 10$ starting price and auction style. Selling price 1000$ or more. No matter how we tried it at auction, we could not get the manufacturing cost covered, forget about profit. The competition is now making a 4.000.000 per year. We need a marketing research on how they pull it off and make a profit when they are not manufacturers (therefore their product cost is higher to them than us). and we need to form a strategy to be able to make it happen too.
