Accounting rich internet application (RIA) using GWT

Our company is currently developing a monitoring and accounting software. We are looking for developers (or a team of developers) to program the accounting part of this application. This section is built as a RIA (Rich Internet Application) using MySQL as database and GWT (Google Web Toolkit) (Java) as programming language. Your task will be divided into two parts: entry forms (around 12/15 forms which can call each others) and display pages. Entry forms are used to record and edit information such as hardware, datacenter, telecom lines, but also pieces of information from accounting documents such as invoices, providers contacts, delivery forms, contracts, … Forms have from 4 to 30 fields depending on the form, must be able to call another form to add relative information, use rich components such as calendar or dynamic multiple lines. Display pages are used to show database content using rich tables (grids), allow editing and deletion. Forms and data tables are called by an menus and submenus. A more detailed document containing the following information will be provided: - Technical specifications for forms and menus - Database structure - Concept screens to help with design and HMI. Since we are using Ext GWT for components, there is very little design and customization. Skills required: • Knowledge of Java, GWT (Google Web Toolkit) and Ext GWT extension • Knowledge of Database management (MySQL), SQL • Code has to be commented in detail • English speaking, ideally able to perform conference calls (using skype for example) • French speaking is a plus but not mandatory All documentation will be provided once the contractor is chosen. Important note: since this is the first part of the software, this project can lead to others projects and assignments. Contractor will have to sign a confidentiality agreement.
