I'm looking for a programmer who can make me a simple API interface that will automatically perform a single trade every day within my Interactive Brokers account. It should be compatible with the Trader Workstation (TWS). Please include comments in your program. I also will need a [login to view URL] file explaining how I can open the file and re-save (including any compiling requirements) if I need to change certain parameters. The program should work with Windows XP. The Interactive Brokers API can use C++ or Java programming. You can view the documentation here: [login to view URL] You must know how to pull certain price information from the Interactive Brokers servers. An understanding of quarterly Futures contracts (e-mini) is necessary. An understanding of the following terms is necessary: "buy to open", "sell to close", "sell to open", "buy to close". This is a simple program with 5 variables, 2 opening rules, and 6 closing rules.

We have been building algo trading applications on many platforms, like Interactive Brokers, Ninja Trader, iQT, Omnesys Technologies with C# API, JAVA API, VB.NET API. We have implemented Options and Future parity based arbitrage strategy for a prop broker in India, We have also implemented different combination of technical indicators strategy on IB, which can place automatic orders, includes ability to start/stop/pause/resume/cancel individual sessions, ability to reconnect and resume sessions if connections is lost, logs for each trader, complete order management system, with order modification (for Limit orders), check open orders, cancel open orders (all based on certain rules) In a way, we understand the business and HFT, we have team who can build complete robust, customized system.
