Seems it's really an easy Job to me! Still, I would request that please do not award now, come for a quick chat so that I can make me sure about the XML format and all. As soon as I will get the idea about XML format, I will send you the final quote. Now According to my understandings I will have to write the service and client both. I mean service will manage the request in our end and the site where you will push the HTML will consume it as a client. I am assuming I will have to write a single Service end point. Your another site will call the service End point, Service will go to database, will pick the data, create the XML and will send as a response. Now, what may be the size of your data? If there is huge data then I would prefer to send the XML in Gzip format. Otherwise the process will slowdown and you may face server timeout issue as well. But if there is no such data then do not need to take extra burden we can simply send the XML. Error Logging: I think we can just get and print the Exception Error message in Log. If somehow server does not response or something similar then code will not be able to get it, is it not? So, please specify what you want to log as error message. I need the below from you: - Database (Both Old and New) to investigate - Sample XML file, so that I can map it with Database data. I will wait for your message to move further.
