the design of a web site that will cater to the fitness industry in Portugal & UK The site must have a blog component so that information and posts can be updated regularly the purpose of the site is: 1. to create an on-line community & forum for fitness professionals (mainly personal trainers and aerobics instructors) but the site will be presented so that in such a way that it is also accessible, interesting and valuable for non-professionals who are interested in learning/finding out more about all aspects of fitness 2. provide a platform for suppliers to fitness industry to gain access to fitness professionals 3. to provide a site where fitness professionals who are members of the site can enjoy interesting/significant discounts for the products supplied by the suppliers who are advertising on the site 4. to provide a platform upon which fitness professionals are able to present themselvs as available for work to employers within the industry & vice-verca (to do this it will need a component that allows for them to up-load their qualificastions/certifications etc, etc & it will also need a component that allows them to post a short YouTube video clip of themselves) the site will have a google map component that will allow fitness professionals to identify where they are based and also to define the parameters within which they are prepared to work + also allowing employers to define where their clubs/installations are the site will also have a component that will allow fitness club operators to post short-notice requests when they are searching for teachers to teach aerobics classes at short-notice in their clubs the site will generate revenues via: 1. charging fitness proffessionals a noninal monthly fee to remain "live" 2. charging suppliers a monthly fee for which they will be able to advertise their products & services 3. charging employers a monthly fee for which they will have access to fitness proffessionals who are available to work
