Hello, First of all I would recommend not using any off the shelf solution like wordpress or joomla nor any pre-defined solution that you commonly find these days to create a social networking site, out of the box. It would severely limit the scalability of the website given that every predefined solution has its own limitations. Thus I'd recommend custom development using a PHP based MVC framework like Symfony 2 or CodeIgnitor. I understand that you would like to build a Dating website website and we would certainly help you regarding ,however I do have a few questions in respect of your requirements : 1. Please provide more details on your design preference. 2. How many user types will be there? 3. Apart from Ad management and Newsletter system, what are the other features you are looking to have in the admin. 4. How many user levels will be there and what would be the access rights for each user level? 5. Please describe the user activities in detail according to user type/level. 6. Will there be any paid membership system. More than the website, the mobile app would be the most important aspect of this project however that can be done in the second phase as the features of the mob app would basically be based on the main web app. Also, the mob app would share the database of the web app through the means of a web-service (which we will create).
