As per the given specs I think we should go for WordPress. It has inbuilt Blog section. For newsletter sign up I will integrate a newsletter plugin that has several other integrated features (in case you want to have multiple features in future). For eCommerce section I will install WooCommerce plugin. One of the most important issue is Security, for that I have several recommendations like- iThemes Security, Wordfence, All in One WP Security, Sucuri Security, BulletProof Security, etc. Finally, I will take care of the speed of the site and take some steps like- - Install Cache plugin, - Plugin for compressing / optimizing images, - Applying plugin / method for compressing your website’s files to save bandwidth and speed up page load times, - Fix broken links - Minify CSS and JS files - Unload unused plugins, etc. We are going to have to make sure that everything is in the right place.
