Build a Products Price Comparison Engine/Website

Objective Freelancer with Demonstrated Experience to Build a Product Comparison Shopping Engine using WordPress I need a developer or a team of developer with demonstrated experience in building product comparison shopping engines. The goal is to create a site that compares the prices of products from multiple online retailers. Want developers for on-going and long-term work relationship as the site grows. You must provide documentation with details on database architecture, API development and implementation Front End Features • Product Sorting: visitors will be able to see different prices, from cheapest to most expensive, from different retailers. Visitors must be able to filter and be able to choose or click on any of the product (by price, seller’s web link, product name, etc.). They should be able to filter the search items by retailer, country/region, price range, brand, product category. Search results will include: product name, product image, description of product, and price. • Product Landing Page: visitors must be able to land on the product page in the chosen seller’s website • Product Sorting: visitors sort products by category, review rating, price range, manufacturers/brand, style, features • Tax: visitors must be able to see tax charges on product • Shipping Cost: visitors must view shipping cost by entering a ZIP code or city • Product marking: used and refurbished items must clearly marked • E-mail alert functionality: include a price alert e-mail feature that can be sent to customer • User Account: visitor can create user account; and be able to choose and favorite products list with links to sellers page • Social and Chat-Room Feature/Functionality: visitor can send product information (image, text, etc) via e-mail and via chat room to friends and others through Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, etc. • Product Review: visitor must be able to leave a comment and review • Coupon/Discounts: display daily coupon and discounts available from multiple retailers, either via separate page on displayed automatically against products with discounts or eligible for coupon. Back-End Features The site will run pulling in data automatically from data feeds from major affiliate networks (e.g. Amazon, Walmart, Commission Junction, ShareASale, etc.) • Set-up data feed for retailers – mapping of categories (in CSV, XML, JSON, REST or HTTP); all data feeds are to be set up to automatically update every day or multiple times a day. • A complimentary crawler feed that compliments the product feed above; and that manages and updates product data from multiple sites • Manage retailers (URL, affiliate URL, Logo, addresses, and other details) • Manage sections and categories (e.g. Electronics -> LCD TVs; Computer -> Toshiba; etc.) • Have Template design with the ability to swap colours and logos of the site • Have statistics (e.g. click tracking, etc.) section in admin area • News, coupons, etc., and basic CMS features • Manage products – set-up products to be compared, product features, etc.
