Hi, I'm a stand up comedian and huge baba booey fan. I don't have a comedy writing sample per se because most of the stuff I do here is academic. However, I listen to lots of comedy podcasts (Marc Maron, Pete Holmes, Ari Shaffir). If you tell me more about yourself and what topics your podcast will cover, I might be able to riff some ideas.

I have a wicked sense of humor, a warped view of current events, and am an avid follower of American politics. Please see my samples in my portfolio. In my previous life as a journalist/columnist, I wrote a weekly column not unlike what you are looking for with your podcasts. Even if I am not successful with this bid please promise me you will do something on Dick and Liz Cheney's delusions - they appear to think their opinions actually matter. Truthfully I think somewhere in Dick's mind he is convinced that he is POTUS. The man should be studied by a team of shrinks - at the university level - preferably in Austria.
