Create Powerpoint or Swishmax presentation that will pull list of names from excel file

I am in charge of setting up a presentation at our local Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society that will scroll the list of names on the screen who are cancer survivors and another in memory of those lost to cancer. This is a long list of over 1000 names and they are entering them in an excel file when they register but I will only have about 2 hours to finalize the presentation. I need to have a powerpoint or flash file that will pull names from an excel file that I can dump names into at the last minute and have it show. I just need two columns for first and last name so I can sort by last name. I would like to be able to change the background and the text at the top. If any one knows a better way to do this I'm open to suggestions. I need this by next Thursday. Thanks
