I am a professional fashion designer from NIFT, Mumbai (one of Asia's leading fashion college) and have a work experience of more than 2 years with retail brands, and fashion designers where I have designed collections and executed the designs. Macy's, INC, GAP, Aeropostale, Park Avenue, Reliance Trends are to name a few. I have also Worked for Lakme Fashion Week collection of Kunal Rawal. I have been designing collections and accessories for various brands, startups and clients from around the world including Dubai, Texas, London, Indonesia, etc. in all clothing categories like womenswear, kidswear and menswear. I have a detailed understanding of the fabrics and construction requirements involved in the garment construction business. I handle everything from the tech pack development, print design, embroidery design, silhouette ideas, illustration, fabric suggestions and garment construction for the collections. I am one of the top 10 national level graphic designers selected by World Skills Organizations, 2013. Hence, I am fast and well versed with all graphic designing software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw, etc.

I have been Head Designer for Buffalo and Bear a small start up children wear clothing company in the UK for 3 years and have seen it grow from strength to strength. Starting out of mine and my sister in laws living rooms we now have a small office and nearly 10,000 instagram followers. My role in the company is designs and fabric choice so it does not take up too much of my time and I am keen to help other brands in the same way. I was also a Assistant Buyer for Burberry in the children ready to wear department for a number of years. Children clothing should be fun and playful yet still be fashion forward, children wear is growing at an incredibly fast rate and it is a very exciting time to be involved in this sector of the fashion industry.
