Hi, I created a similar tool recently for another customer. In this tool he can select an item of a predefined list of work items, then insert the quantity and price/unit. The product of the 2 is calculated at the end of the row, so is the sum of all items at the bottom of the sheet. Do you need something similar? Regards, Balint

For example I designed a complex headcount tool that enabled to determine the number of staff required to setup, run and teardown events along with the cost and various others. For your building costing template I would suggest having one sheet with all the materials along with their respective cost per quantity, category, and other necessary information. The main sheet that calculates the building cost would have the different phases of construction with materials required, their quantity and finally total cost. Hi. I'm new at Freelancer, but not to Excel. I've been working on spreadsheets since they first came out (over 35 years)! This project is right up my alley. You want a spreadsheet where you can put in and/or edit costs as they come in (or as your estimates change), and the final calculatiion will change automatically. So, if you origially calculated that you need 4 trucks of cement instead of 3, changing the 3 to a 4 is all you need to do to update the final calculation. I am eager to prove my value to new clients - so hope you will give me a shot!
