Hi Spantic, I run a small WISP in New Zealand. Mainly based around Ubiquiti equipment. I'd like to install an RB750 Mikrotik in the network to perform a couple of basic functions that include VLAN's: - Mikrotik to have two gateway ports facing towards internet: port 1: untagged traffic is forced through an intermediary router which delivers dhcp and nat. port 2: tagged traffic is forced directly to internet, without traversing the intermediary router. Management traffic (untagged) and addressing for the entire network remains 192.168.X.X (i.e. flat) Ubiquiti Unifi will present multiple SSID's - some will tag traffic for a particular LAN, and some will not. Ideally, I'd like to avoid using different subnets, but will take advice. If this sounds like something you can help me with, let me know and I can send you the current, and proposed network design, including requirements for Mikrotik configuration. Cheers Scott

Hello, Scott! If your network is plain and you do not need to use different subnets may be there is a solution in using mangle ( special tags to the traffic - work only inside mikrotik) to forward traffic coming from one interface ( or something else) to internet directly, and other traffic forward to the intermediary router. May be I am not undestand you idea well. It will be good to look at the sheme of you network - current and planned. SIncerelly yours. Egor.

Can show previous work, previous Mikrotik experiences and examples of already deployed and working topologies.
