There are already few libraries of wiznet w5100 that work perfect with Arduino chips, but they all use SPI for interfacing. We have Arduino mega 2560 connected to w5100 in Direct (parallel) mode and looking for Arduino library. You can find one library here [login to view URL] and from config file(can find from link below) [login to view URL] We can change these lines as mentioned to configure Direct mode #ifndef WIZCHIP #define WIZCHIP 5500 // 5100, 5200, 5300, 5500 #endif -->here to select 5100, // #define WIZCHIP_IO_MODE WIZCHIP_IO_MODE_BUS_DIR // #define WIZCHIP_IO_MODE WIZCHIP_IO_MODE_BUS_INDIR #define WIZCHIP_IO_MODE WIZCHIP_IO_MODE_SPI #endif ->here have to change to WIZCHIP_IO_MODE_BUS_DIR We are looking for arduino/avr expert to port this library to Arduino, Or you can modify any other library, or even send us your library if you have one already that can work with direct mode.
