I have written my first novel and need someone to edit the chapters. I need an editor that can change my words and story to be better grammar and more compelling. I also need the person to be able to edit down the words as at present there are around 90+ thousand words in the novel and this needs to be cut to between 70-80 thousand words being my first novel. It is my intention to sell the book as a Kindle book on Amazon so experience in this type of editing is important. When you reply please include details of any novels you have helped edit with some way of proving this and the name of the novel so that I can look at the success. I need you to have already completed at least 10 projects and have a rating of 9.5 and above please. Also please let me know how you go about protecting me on my copyright of my novel. My novel is a thriller and is partly set in Zambia, the U.K and one of the characters comes from the US. So if you have any knowledge or experience in any of these territories, but in particular Zambia. The majority of the novel is set in the South Luangwa National Park, so knowledge of this would be a real bonus. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am an experienced editor and writer who has edited non-fiction work for publication on Amazon. I have also worked with writers to critique and edit short fiction and have supported budding novelists by critiquing their work. These authors have not, however, finished their work as you have (congratulations, by the way). Though I have never been to Zambia I am an excellent researcher and am willing to spend extra time delving into the context of the novel in order to get a feel for the location in which it is set. I have been to the UK on more than one occasion and my family is from there. I have spent much of my life entrenched in British culture as well as US culture, living as I do in Australia (which is, culturally speaking, a blend of the UK and US popular culture). I am very happy to specifically research the South Luangwa National Park in order to ensure that this is being properly represented in a realistic and engaging way.
