Create tool to populate excel spreadsheet with data from XML files

I have >100 xml files with the following tags: <id>, <title>, <questionType>, <questionContents>, <answers>, <answerA>, <answerB>, <answerC>, <answerD>, <answerE>, <hint>, and <explanation>. I want these to be parsed and populated into an excel spreadsheet with each column corresponding to a tag and each row corresponding to a unique file. One of the tags answerA-E has a property 'correct="correct" ' which I want put in an additional column "correctAnswer" populated with the tag name. I'm asking for someone to write a script to parse these files and populate the spreadsheet. I've attached a sample file.
