ATTENTION SOUTH AFRICAN WRITERS We are looking for talented and passionate writers to work as freelancers for an Australian based web design, development and marketing firm. While the work will initially be sporadic, we expect more consistent ongoing work as we commence with marketing. The requirements can be as broad and varied as: - Writing web content - Writing content for SEO - Writing content for advertising material - Writing content for corporate communications (eg. Capability Statements, Company Profiles) - Blogging/Ghost writing - Writing status updates for social media campaigns - Copy editing of existing articles Current projects include: - Copy editing of web copy for a financial brokerage firm - Copyediting for a builder/developer - Copyediting for a concreting company - Writing of website content for a Caravan Manufacturer - Writing of marketing material for caravan manufacturer UNDERSTANDING THE TOPIC We have our own briefing process to capture as much information as we can, and every client goes through a comprehensive marketing brief to better understand their business, their clients, their competitors, their marketplace, their competitive advantage and the features and benefits of their product or service. This is a the foundation upon which the writer will be able to produce the written content. We don't expect writers to research a topic in its entirity, although we will often give 2 or 3 competitor websites for reference. While it is imperative that the writer is great at creating engaging copy, it is equally important that the writer is reliable, delivering the content within the specified timeframes. We expect the candidate to be available within 24 hours. RATES: Please note that the below estimate of R500-R3000 (ZAR) is a per project estimate based on our smallest and largest packages. We expect to pay R1 per word.
