Articles and Blog Posts

** This is an ongoing job / perm contract for the right candidate ** We require 4 entertaining / funny / humourous and whacky blog posts / articles to be written and posted each day. Resource bank is provided for material 40% - 60% of which is to be summarised, rewritten and copied and pasted into live posts. Specs for job include working through WYSIWYG, uploading graphics, stripping javascript, creating catchy headlines and initial article summary before proceeding to body of article. Samples of YOUR OWN work (not outsourced work you have had done) need to be provided. ## Deliverables **1) ******** Before posting a new article, FIRST verify if it hasn't already been written in the blog. How? Take first few words of source article, and conduct a search of them through in Google (example will be provided later in detailed specs) [][1] **2) ******** Never hotling images to another site. All images must be called from the blog itself. Upload all "BODY" images to: (in blog) *b* And all "SHORT STORY" images to: (in blog) *s* **3) ******** Put up 4 articles each day please. ** 4) ******** Please first format article nicely inside your WYSIWYG editor before pasting final result to the blog. Meaning use <h2> tags for headers/subheaders throughout article. **5) ******** Original articles usually have long blocks of text. Your job is to brake those blocks into no more then 3 lines when it's seen at the blog. Think newspaper. Their sentances are short. And they have lot of line brakes. Do same at the blog. **6) ******** Every article put inside this blog, must contain absolutely NO javascript code. So make sure you strip source articles adsense or contextual links from article. (Contextual links are those that have been underlined by program like Adbrite. Deleting their Javascript usually removes entire word. So please ensure that you write word back if it gets deleted.) **==============================<wbr />**========================= Additional instructions for when summarizing article in "SHORT STORY" window. ==============================<wbr />========================= Take best image from article, and scale it down to 60-70 pixels width. With constraint proportions (so it'll automatically adjust height of image). And upload image to folder "s" (in blog - more details to come upon accepting post) JPG image should be no more then 3KB. ** ==============================<wbr />**========================= AVOID PURE VIDEO ARTICLES. This blog is mostly about AMUSING / BIZARRE / STRANGE /<wbr /> UNUSUAL TEXT & PICTURES. Only use video if you personally think it's darn GOOD and people gotta see it. Also pick random site each day (resource sites will be provided upon accepting bid).
