I need someone expert on Unity Game Engine to interface it with our audio technology. The demo will involve a FPS-type scenario where the player navigates few rooms where there are different audio sources, e.g. a person speaking, a rifle shooting, water dropping off a pipe (the graphics is not too important, but it would be nice to have something that looks good). The audio will be generated by our proprietary audio engine (C++ library). The game engine should provide our audio engine with real-time information on (a) the dimension of the room, (b) the position of the sound source and (c) the position of the player.

Hello, I've experience with unity game engine and unity's audio engine, I can send game data based on some event that happens in the game to other engines but I'll need to first know how it's setup and what's expected to be sent and dealt with. Hello. I am experienced Unity developer and I possess skills of 3D modeling , which I use during application development. Also I made an Unity-application that interacts with another one - speech recognition application. I do not consider myself an expert, but well versed in the Unity3D and I'm sure that can handle this task.

Greetings, i can do what you are asking, but i have some questions first: 1)Does your own proprietary audio engine ( C++ library ) is a standalone version meaning it will round outside Unity3D? 2) How the communication of the Unity3D and your own audio engine it will be ? 3) How much time and money you want to spend on this ? Hi I am very experienced with Unity3D having worked with the engine for 5 years and in that time have created a FPS game which will definitely help me to create the demo you desire in the engine. I have also worked with C++ for many years and won't have a problem interfacing with your audio library. What I would do is to create the FPS part in Unity using either your own art assets, art assets purchased from the AssetStore or just using simple meshes made from primitive shapes. If you do not already have a C++ to C# interface for your library I would create that and through that feed the information your engine requires from the demo scene.
