We have a printer driver written in C that works on Windows Vista and 7. We need to port the code to a Visual Studio 2013 project that will allow us to compile to Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, Server 2003, Server 2008 R2, and Server 2012. We also need a professional C developer to review 2-3 functions in the printer driver's code and make sure they contain no errors or bugs. This printer will basically receive a spooled file and send a message to a service running on the same system, getting the service's port and address from the registry. We need to review the sections of the code that involve reading the registry, creating an XML message with all parameters and sending it to the correct window. Among other things, we need to make sure that the code can handle problematic file names and save them correctly in XML.

Hi, Will be a pleasure to work in this project for you. I have a long experience in printer driver products, you could check that going for just a second to my work history. I can provide you the best options for your requirements. Win 8 is very problematic for printer drivers. A detail is that it dont allow installations of not signed printer drivers if you dont boot with "allow unsigned drivers" option. I have been porting all my printers to XPS pipeline filters in the last year and then in a user mode application(c#) trasnforming this xps to any format, ex: pdf, bmp, jpeg, tiff, etc. Best regards, SysSoftw

I can port your code to Visual Studio 2013 - but when ported to 2013 - this will no longer works on Windows XP (VS2013 no longer support this system). I have experience in writing driver for Windows and Linux.
