Hi, this sounds like a very easy project, because I've essentially already finished it! For my Masters thesis, I developed a wireless data acquisition system that took various analog inputs (from my heart monitor EKG amplifier system), and transmitted that data to a wireless base-station. The system is VERY low power and sounds like nearly a drop in solution for yours, since the wireless/micocontroller unit is an independent PCB from the rest of the system. Sounds like a very simple job, I'd probably recommend using small arm cortex-m0 processor, depending on the sensors you're specifying. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to offer guidance (even if not chosen as your freelancer) A little bit about me: I graduated from Ohio state in 2006 with a degree in Computer Science and for the last couple of years I've mostly been building prototypes for people, and working at startups. Most recently I've been building a bluetooth controlled car unlocker, using a PIC24 processor. That project is mostly written in C, using the supplied rtos, that manages the bluetooth stack. The phone side is written in html/javascript using a cross platform toolkit. Before that I was working at a local Houston startup, TARGETVISION where I built long range wireless camera systems for targetshooting. We used wifi links that went over a mile. I also designed and built a few other prototypes for them, such as a wireless target changer. Before that the biggest project was a large, around golf cart sized, robot to survey train rail tracks, where I was interfacing with sensors and the drive and power mechanisms. I've mostly worked with AVRs or ARMs. But there should be no trouble with any chip that is programmable in C. In graduate school, I did extensive programming for uC's using the 68H11, which is a small accumulator based chip. We put them into many small, low-cost applications.

I am a experienced firmware programmer. I've been working with embedded systems for years. I just need more information about what kind of wireless you want to use. I suggest to use bluetooth in this case, it would be the easiest way to procceed with it.
