COM object to use in VB6 to monitor MIDI messages

I require a COM object DLL which I can use in a number of VB6 programs which allows me monitor and process MIDI messages coming from a number of MIDI devices (MIDI keyboards). I would expect to create the object "WithEvents" and have the object fire an event each time a message is received. In addition I would like a method by which I can send MIDI messages back to the same device.
