As regards myself, I am an assistant professor of English at a University College where I have been teaching English over two decades. Furthermore, my typing skill and accuracy is also high. As regards writing, I would like to focus on a particular aspect of writing that is style. In the matter of writing, ‘style’ is of paramount importance. We know a good writer endeavors to let others know what a writer thinks feels and sees on the panorama of life, but the mode of expressing a feeling, thought or idea differs from person to person. This different is what is called style. Furthermore we have to maintain clarity, logic, grammatical appropriateness, precision, simplicity, brevity, impressiveness, picturesqueness, melody, harmony, euphemism, mannerism, tautology, pleonasm, verbosity, prolixity and a lot more.
