I need someone to rewrite my bio for my website so that it reads well and is engaging, rather than just details and lists. And if they are a wizard maybe they could also rewrite my writer's CV so it pops off the page.

Born in 1982. And I'm a Pisces. My passions are writing - short fiction, 4 blogs, scripts (movies, plays) and young adult novels (dark fantasy, suburban/rural action/adventure, sometimes creepy, cerebral drama, introverted life slices - with bleak humour, morbidly precise details in violence, fantastic elements and the mundane), writing and art direction for comic books, animation and television, design for electronic art concepts, software and games - scalable electronic games, tabletop games, indie video games. My favourite games to play are sandbox and platform games.
My favourite games to write are strategy, action/adventure, and arcade games. I'm a big fan of heavily thinky indie games, like the works of Austin Jorgensen, Eddy Boxerman, Mike Bithell, Lucas Pope, Richard Hofmeier, Dino Patti, Ed McMillen, Tom Francis, Davey Wreden, Svedang + Akerblad, Prodos, Chris Birch, Jason Morningstar, Bennett Foddy.
In the beginning there was England. There was Plastic Man, Green Lantern and Buster comic books to fuel my imaginings (I loved Ken Reid's Faceache.) I was four when I used my dad's video camera to shoot my first short movie - a horror movie called The Thing Under the bed, where I was the monster.
As a kid, I dreamed of becoming a pro wrestler and an inventor. To this end, I studied martial arts for many years. Eventually inventing became interactive design and writing. But a stretched ligament in my knee on an adventure in high school, made me reconsider a career filled with painful injuries. After many years of getting lost in books I decided I could write an important novel - and pointed my education in that direction (with a slight detour into making movies.)
I am heavily inspired by my favourite writers, filmmakers and artists - Stephen King, Greg Egan, Glen Duncan, Terry Pratchett, Shane Koyczan, Justina Robson, Lorenzo Carcaterra, B. F. Skinner, Douglas Coupland, Sam Kieth, Jhonen Vasquez, Tony Wong, Bill Finger, Jack Cole, Jae Lee, Scott Lobdell, Chris Claremont, Gardner Fox, Jim Henson, Hal Hartley, David Cronenberg, Harmony Korine, Lars Von Trier, Chan-wook Park, S. S. Wilson, Takashi Miike, Julian Schnabel, Spalding Gray, Stephen Chiodo, Caro and Jeunet, David Mamet, Olivier Assayas, Brendon Small, Burnie Burns, Don Hertzfeldt, Chris O'Neill (Oney), John Leekely, Bruce Timm, Josh Schwartz, Peter Chung, David Simon.
