Hello there, I believe I'm a solid candidate to create your database update mechanism because I have built something very similar to what you want, in the past. I built an app for RC model enthusiasts so people could find venues to fly their models. The database was constantly updated on the server and it had to be refreshed on the devices too, so I believe I have the knowledge and experience. Please correct me if I'm wrong but the way I understand it is you already have the app with a default database and you already have a server with the updated jokes and you just need someone to implement the updating? Its very Simple Just we need to create a background service, Which will check if new data is availabel in server or not. If Yes update the database. Regards

Hi , I already devlop that feature for one of my client .In that application if any new/updated version of application is uploaded to the Server,so device application will automatically download the new version & update itself.
