Create a Balance Sheet

Hi there I’m a Chartered Accountant with over 16 years experience. I have previously for Ernst & Young and HMRC and now run my own practice. You can find out a little more about me at caroline-jackson.com. I normally focus of small charities but I also get involved with ad hoc projects that I find interesting or where I think I can help. I work quickly and efficiently and aim to provide all my clients with a very professional service at an affordable price. I am regulated by the ICAEW and also registered with the Information Commissioners Office for Data Protection. I use spreadsheets daily and am in total agreement with you that spreadsheets should be automated with formulas wherever possible. I see the workflow of the project being as follows: (1) You send me the spreadsheets. I review them and clarify any questions (2) I prepare the necessary balance sheets as requested for you review. (3) You review the updated spreadsheets and let me know of any amendments. My bid is based on your estimate of 5 hours and is the maximum I will charge. I would expect that after the first balance sheet has been created, subsequent years will be quicker. Therefore my final fee will be lower if it takes less than 5 hours. I keep detailed time records as a matter of course and would be more than happy to share the records for this project with you.
