Project summary:
For a card club we have a project that requires a wide range of statistics for all the results that we have accumulated in the past years and need tools to keep it updated. In case of real-time Flex is to our opinion the best choice.
The project is all about Statistics along with some related tools. For that to achieve we need a Real-time Online Statistics system that holds: Forecasts Statistics, history forecast, user forecast + comments and discussion, multi level top score statistics, blogging, editor tools (writing/posting options), user feedback, and such…
The Game itself doesn't need to be build because that is offline 
We prefer a real-time statistics but this is something we should discuss to see what the options are etc..
Objective summary:
Multi-lingual Online Statistics system with:
• Login system: valid username, password, IP log…
• multi sessions participation per user and also multiple users
• real-time statistics, any change made by users will be visible by others immediately(real-time ;-))
• possibility to create extra pools (with subgroups) for special tournaments/game
• countdown clock
• blogging
• image uploading (we provide a working script)
• editor tool, he has extra rights (writing articles, updating parts of the website) (current user account upgraded to editor)
• history statistics
• forecasts statistics (based on matches played last # years + current position and this year's results)
• users forecasts + comments and discussion
• users forecast statistics created by users made selections
• multi level top score statistics (user rankings based on different levels)
• database optimization, we need it to run so that it will not overload our MySQL database. So updates should limit the calculations which makes the website faster
• Flex part: some statistic information should be in FLEX especially the real-time statistics that it will be more convenient for the users
