Instant Messaging Client Server

To develop a client server instant messaging system. I am using one of two server implementations. Please direct me to the sites that are using the system If we use one of the servers listed above the project (Phase 1) is a Java 1.1 or Java 2 (No Swing) skinnable IM client GUI. This is due on or before 4/30/03. The features will be identical to Yahoo Messenger. You and I do have the option of negotiating features that will meet the deadline and break the other features out on a different timeline. Your bid will reflect the entire feature list. This is not due 4/30/03 My site is written in Classic ASP with a SQL Server 2000 data store. I have a system for login and authentication. We need to test that the user meets certain criteria before using the IM. This can be handled in the ASP/ADO/Stored procedure method or IM GUI implementation. The project also requires the developer to sign the GUI. The GUI must be a downloadable executable using some extraction and install mechanism. I can purchase InstallShield but this is not desirable due to cost. It is the developer’s responsibility to propose a suitable installation mechanism that works on Windows 98 and higher, Mac OS 9 and higher. The developer is responsible for security recommendations in writing, get my approval and finally implement. The developer is responsible for Java code obfuscation and testing. I am also looking for 1-year support since this is an untested interface. I am looking for a system that is turn key and is extensible. I plan to have revisions with new added features.
