MYSQL File Recovery

I have a mysql cluster and I changed the IP's on the whole cluster.. well in order to get the nodes to read the new config file I ran this command

/etc/init.d/mysql-ndb start-initial /etc/mysql/conf.d/[url removed, login to view]

I didnt know that it deletes all tables previously connected to the ndb cluster and it purged all the data

the last backup I have was a few weeks ago

ubuntu live boot cd hopefully to recover files but am having a hell of a time trying to get it mounted and booted in ubuntu 10 running on xen server

open to all suggestions...

here is the mysql command that killed my cluster

shell> ndbd --initial

Note that it is very important to use the --initial parameter only when starting ndbd for the first time, or when restarting after a backup/restore operation or a configuration change. This is because the --initial option causes the node to delete any files created by earlier ndbd instances that are needed for recovery, including the recovery log files.
