a) For the following set of data corresponding to height (h) measurements at given horizontal distances (d), set up the coefficient/design matrix (A), the unknown vector (x), the weight matrix (CI^-1) (assume that each height measurement has a standard deviation of 1 cm. and no observational correlation exists) and the right-hand side (L) (i.e., Ax=L) required to solve the unknown parameters of a second order polynomial mathematical model (i.e., d = ao + a1h + a2h”) using the method of least squares. Assume that each height measurement has a standard deviation of 1 cm.

b) Show how you would compute the residuals (r).

c) Define the following terms:
