Company wanted to keep track of people who were not paying their bills. This project helped company do the following.
• Automatically identifying customer who have unpaid and overdue invoices using a scheduled batch apex job to collect a list of invoices not paid for atleast 30 days after due date
• Periodically send notifications to non-paying customer, initially via email/sms, and the eventually posting them a Letter Before Action i.e. just before referring them to debt recovery agency, all done automatically without any human intervention except in the last step where accounts dept would manually refer the debtor to a debt collection agency.
• API integration with a third party for posting letters to customers.
• Automatically suspending services to customers X days after their invoice is overdue
