I'm currently a PhD student with my thesis under review as well as tutor/research assistant in University of Technology Sydney (UTS) working on my own thesis and R&D programs with the main focus on nonlinear behaviour of reinforced concrete frames and slabs. I’m extremely interested in obtaining the job due to my passion in structural design.
I believe that my tertiary qualification as well as considerable experience in industry as a structural engineer with strong competency in using structural engineering software packages in analysis and design of different types of steel and concrete (both reinforced and pre-stressed) infrastructures including residential/commercial/industrial buildings and bridges has prepared me to be an effective member of the engineering team in any company. Further, I possess solid knowledge in the relevant Australian standards (e.g.; AS 3600 and AS 4100) and remarkable experience in construction of steel and reinforced concrete structures which have provided me with a broad view that will be definitely beneficial in the progress of construction projects. In addition, I've built a strong competency in written and verbal communication skills during my study/career.
Therefore, I believe that these skills together with my characteristics like self-motivation, enthusiasm, quick learning, ambition, determination, accurate time-management, ability to work under pressure, concern about the accuracy and quality of tasks and good sense of team work as well as ability to work autonomously have made me a valuable engineer and I eagerly wish to be nominated for any suitable position in the structural engineering discipline. It is also noteworthy that as an Australian citizen, there is no obstacle in my way to work unboundedly within Australia or any other place decided by the employer.
