I've been in love with the English language since I learned it when I was seven years old. It is not my first language; I feel that this has made me appreciate it that much more. Both of my immigrant parents couldn't speak more than a few words in English and heavily relied on me. Having such a big responsibility pushed me to learn the English language very quickly. Once I did, I absolutely fell in love with its irregular rules, and complicated origin. I strive to express myself, my ideas, and all that I observe through writing. As an undergrad at the California State University of Sacramento, majoring in Film Studies, I hope to use my writing to tell stories to people worldwide. I plan to receive my Masters and PhD in English Literature so that I can teach college and high school students the beauty of communicating through the English Language. Writing and reading have always been extreme passions of mine; this website is a means for me to live out my passion and make it a career.
