I am a Mechanical Engineer and a Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP). I have worked as a mechanical designer for 7 years in two metal mechanic companies. I was responsible for the improvement of existing products and also designing the new products using SolidWorks. I also had the opportunity to work very close to the manufacturing area, which gave me a good expertise in metal fabrication processes like welding, cutting, folding and milling. Furthermore, I have a valuable understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). I also have experience on finite element analysis and with quality management system standards ISO 9001. As I'm from Brazil and now living in the Unites States for 3 years I can also work on English and Portuguese translations.
