Virtual Box Expert needed for Tracking Problem.

When you create a blank virtualbox vm, like even before the OS is installed, is it given a UID, or a GUID? Something that can be tracked?

I use a program on the vm, and its tracking no matter what. I did three OS installs today, and it saw through all 3. The least common denominator is the vm itself, it must have some unique identifier written to it.

I've always considered my vm special, as its always worked for me. Recently its stopped. I feel I need to recreate the vm, if this is the case (that is being tracked by uid), but I don't know how to compare my special vm to a regular vm, in the hopes of creating another special vm, albeit unique.
