Plesk Script

I have several Plesk servers and am running a content management system, Joomla, for several sites on them. When content (Files/Directories) is uploaded through FTP there owner is the Plesk user with Plesk user group. This makes the directories and files read only to the content management system unless i take the time to update permissions for every file/directory through Plesk.

What I need is a script that logs itself in and runs with root access and updates the owner recursively on a specific list of directories. I would like to be able to access this script through a button in the Admin Plesk control panel in such a way that when I click on the button it will prompt with a confirmation popup/screen and then take action.
