Advice/potential software development - Engine Diagnostics Software

Hi guys,
We are looking for someone to help us with our Engine Diagnostics program,
We are a small Edinburgh based company who develops and sells Engine Diagnostics software called AutoSafe Diagnostics.
Currently we are using an ELM327 interface (USB) to communicate with our software.
Our Enhanced software includes ABS and SRS (airbag) Fault resetting, Our software has a database of these codes already, but we are unable to communicate/reset these faults effectively via the ELM327 interface for ABS and SRS (airbag) only. The rest of the engine management/live data works perfectly.
We are looking for an individual to figure out how the ELM327 interface can retrieve the ABS and SRS related fault codes, or if it can be done at all. Any recommendations for alternative interfaces are welcomed also, our software communicates with all petrol vehicles from 2001 on wards and all diesel vehicles from 2004 on wards, so we would prefer if is could be the same for the ABS and SRS features.
We currently use the same interface for our standard version of our software which works perfectly for general engine management and live data across all vehicles within the same years specified above.
