Mail Server Fine Tuning

I need someone to fine tune a running mailserver. It runs quite slow and clamav, spamd is eating alot of memory and cpu. Also got a small problem connection to the MySQL-db where the accounts are stored.

I need someone with the skills to find out what's wrong with the configuration and fix the memory leakage and the cpu consumption.

The config worked before, but after my hosting company extended the memory on my server (VPS) the connection to the MySQL-db was lost and you can't logon to any mailaccounts.

I have no experience of linux and I need someone to fix this for me. All I want is a server that runs smooth and as fast as possible. It's very slow at the moment.
