Looking for a Dynamic Real Time Stock Update on a Website

I am looking to add to a website which is used for financial analysis. I would like to make a dynamic table that will automatically pull a stock's most recently traded price and update a "price" cell in the table, once the symbol or ticker information has been entered into a separate linked cell.
I already have an editable Excel-style table built through a plugin on the website which runs a few calculations based on the most recent price of the stock. I would like the trigger for the code to run to be once a ticker is written into its relevant cell. I am unsure of which language may be required for this. I would suspect HTML, CSS, JavaScript; but perhaps another.
I am hoping for someone to write a script that I could upload or simply paste onto a webpage that will allow this table to function dynamically based on the stock ticker information that is entered by the user.
