I require an expert team of progammers to assist me in fulfilling my ambitions for a horse racing tips site that I have bought a domain for.
The domain is [url removed, login to view] and it will serve as a website providing free tips on horse/greyhound racing from UK/USA/Australia
The idea is to allow "tipsters" to apply to provide tips for my site (via an application form on the site). I require the right to accept/refuse them. If accepted, they would receive the username/password they have specified on the form providing that the username is available. Then, each tipster will have his/her own homepage where through an admin page or something similar, they are able to provide their tips and have them automatically load up onto their respective homepages. There will also be the need for a function which will allow me to enter in the final details for each tip (win/loss, $ payed). I need a statistical system to keep track of the tipsters success % and also figures on the amount of money bet and won. These statistics would ideally be ranked in a "Top 10" list and be displayed somewhere on the main page of the website. Statistics is an important part of this site. Also important is record keeping. The ability to look through the tipster's previous tips etc.
Ideally, these "tipsters" that I will have on my site are those that already have their own tipping services established. The aim of my website is to monitor the success rates of these tipsters, thus giving the visitors an understanding of which services are good and which are not.
Other features I require:
- Flash intro
- Rotating banner ad script with administration to control impressions etc.
- Content management system
- Forum (phpBB is fine)
- Chat Room (I can provide, just need it integrated)
- Polls
- Other ideas may surface during the project.
I have plenty of other projects that need the right expertise. I am sure I will be amazed at the quality of programmesr out there, and have no doubt will find a team for a long term relationship.
