Hello Freelancers!

We have been speaking with designers from a few different places, and then it hit us... we need to crowd source this!

The logo that we need, is for our new startup called bakd.io.

The website is only 2 days old, but the idea is something that a friend and I have been kicking around for quite a while.

If you are interested in a very, very short description of what bakd.io is going to be, head to the site https://www.bakd.io.

bakd.io is going to be a community similar to Freelancer, where cryptocurrency entrepreneurs who work a full time job already (or maybe not!) can list their ideas and try to find backers who will invest in their project.

The catch is, bakd.io will be handling all of the investments, including disbursements.

Projects will be thoroughly vetted, and disbursement models figured out BEFORE a bakd campaign begins. This is done to avoid having developers with a million dollar lump sum from an ICO and zero initiative left to continue on with their project. This also allows someone who isn't 100% ready to leave their current day job a way to finally gain the courage to do so. Disbursements will be made on a weekly or monthly basis. Project milestones will need to be met in order for disbursements to continue.

All of this will be done using the BAKD utility token. This will give investors the ability to invest in bakd campaigns, and it will be the token in which disbursements are made to project owners.

There will also be a social networking aspect to the site via bakd.me. Not only do we want to provide entrepreneurs with the capital they need to realize their goals, but we also want to facilitate the networking of mentors and entrepreneurs so that startups have someone to help them along the way when things inevitably get rough.

Anyway, enough about us, here is a little bit more information on what we're looking for in terms of design specs.

- We absolutely hate Times New Roman (no offense to the creator!)
- We love the newer style "sci-fi" cryptocurrency logos, as well as those similar to the mosaic freelancer logo, but definitely not a copy!
- We like color, and are open to suggestions
- Minimal is OK, too busy is not OK
- Just be creative, we like to be surprised!

CoinMarketCap.com and; CryptoCompare.com are two very good sources to find other logos for inspiration.

Also, just fyi so there is no confusion! It's pronounced "BACKED" as in financially backed by someone. So if you can work in the financial aspect somehow all the better.

Also! Aside from the Freelancer contest fee, all entrants will receive at minimum 1,000 BAKD tokens for their time when we do go live. Keep in mind this will be at minimum 1-2 months from now, so don't enter the logo contest with that as your sole intention of payment.

At any rate, they will be 100% convertible to Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency you choose. Or, keep them, and invest in a bakd startup campaign!

The winning designer will have the opportunity to sign a long term contract with us if they feel so inclined as to continue on working together, so keep that in mind! This would include a percentage of the overall BAKD token supply.

    Looking great so far! We really appreciate everyone taking the time to create these!

    Main thing we're looking for is an amazing icon to go with the bakd.io text. We'd like to be able to use it on the token when it's released. So keep that in mind. What ever the icon is, next to the bakd.io text, it should fit nicely onto a coin shape if possible.

    Visit CryptoCompare.com or CoinMarketCap.com to check out other coin logos for inspiration as far as that goes.

      Also if at all possible try to work the financial aspect of the site into the icon. Whether that be bar graphs as seen above, line charts, who knows. Maybe even a dollar sign somehow. We do like the way the bar chart look is heading though.

      But don't let that limit you if you have other ideas!
