While I firmly believe that Visual Basic is a far more robust tool than Access, there are many small to medium sized business who profit by using database systems developed totally in Access. As businesses grow both in size and complexity, need dictates migration to either an Access defined back end database, or, if needed, a high powered database engine such as Microsoft SQL Server, coupled to a Visual Basic front end. My development thrust is to provide the client with the best product to meet his needs both from the point of view of the deployed system and the economies of scale governing the process.
