This was not an easy project for Sofex. The time difference between Australia and Jordan as well as my schedule made it difficult for him. Add to that the fact that I wanted something that is to be used by a medical specialist and (quite understandably) Sofex does not have that background - this made for some difficulties in our communication. Also, my lack of computer literacy could not have been easy to deal with. Sofex was very professional and courteous. His explanations were very good for my level of computer understanding. I took away a point for quality - I think the way I wanted the project done is flawed. Completely automated data entry for a medical consultation in the broad specialisation of general paediatrics is a bit of a difficult task. I took away a point for communication - there is a time difference issue (7 hours). Also, I am unfamiliar with microsoft Access. Furthermore I was in no hurry to get the project completed, however there is a time limit on Freelancer projects which puts pressure on the programmers. With my work schedule this was going to be a side project and not something that I could attend to as regularly as is necessary to get it right and on time. English is not Sofex's first language but he promptly corrected any spelling or grammatical errors which were minor at worst. I took away points for hiring again - mainly because of the time difference. I would certainly recommend Sofex.
