I'm a well-rounded person as I have learned many things from years of exposure to different environments with varied work setting. I've experienced working in hospitals and have been trained as a Quality Assurance Analyst for a beverage company as a requirement for my Chemistry degree. I've enhanced my ability as an analyst and as a science researcher during these times and I've written many journals (unpublished) on different experiments, as well other academic works for my school, which I may share to interested clients upon request. I find making scientific research papers a tedious, yet challenging, task and I'm very particular with citations in my works as the incidence of plagiarism increased with the availability of many resources online. In addition to my experience in the healthcare and chemical industries, I have also done a few online work as a marketing assistant for an insurance company and as a market researcher/ property surveyor for a real estate company. Insurance and real estate are among the leading industries online and I understand their need for a person that can work with marketing, research and admin support. With my high attention to detail, efficient problem-solving abilities, academic competence and excellent English communication skills (in both oral and written form), I can be regarded as a good contender for many freelance jobs.
Additionally, my past employment history included me being a customer service representative, a tech support agent and a sales/product specialist for BPOs (with outbound calling experience) for about 2 years in total which empowered me to become comfortable with handling business transactions over the phone. Plus, I have the advantage of being technologically proficient as I know my way around computers and I can troubleshoot my own hardware and software system. Aside from the Microsoft Office, I'm pretty familiar with different software, such as the Adobe products, particularly Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects. I've done a few graphic, presentation and video editing work for the chemistry department of our school and for some students' projects, as well as mine.
Generally, I'm an extremely competent person and I have confidence in my ideas and in my capacity to learn in a fast-paced setting. I'm very analytical, spontaneous and flexible, and at the same time versant and open-minded. Clients will find themselves having a good conversation with me about anything under the sun. All these qualities and characteristics I mentioned compel me to become fully assured of my efficiency as a virtual assistant.
