I have participated in several translation programs inside and outside of my school, University of Illinois. I took the national translation academy program in Korea over the summer and completed the course with an excellence award. I completed a few translation projects so far.
Although I am a native speaker of Korean, I have mainly focused on building up my Korean grammar and vocab skills for the last few years. I’ve read many shameful translations and learned that having a mother tongue has no relation with the translation skill. One may be able to just change the word of a language to the other language but making a good quality of translation requires high-level, sophisticated effort. I don’t have much experience yet as a college student, but I can confidently say that I can make what you need with my native linguistic skill.
My strong pair of translation would be English to Korean but I have no problem with using English as I used, wrote, heard in college.
